Maine Critical Access Hospitals Secure #2 National Ranking

Billy BalfourUncategorizedNo commentsJune 8, 2018

The Chartis Center for Rural Health is working with a nearly a dozen SORHs nationally on grant-funded performance improvement initiatives and customized recognition programs in areas such as MBQIP-focused Quality Improvement, Hospital Finance and Operations.

This ‘network’ programming provides rural hospital leadership teams with access to data, and opportunities for collaboration and recognition that otherwise would not be available.

We’ve published a Q&A on the work we’re doing with Maine Office of Rural Health and Primary Care. This engagement is focused on quality improvement, and the combination of comparative analytics and peer collaboration has resulted in the state’s CAHs vaulting to the #2 position nationally.
