Today, rural healthcare faces unique challenges and the Chartis Center for Rural Health builds upon the commitment of The Chartis Group and iVantage Health Analytics to deliver expertise, performance management solutions, advisory services, and research to the system-supported rural facilities, community hospitals, and Critical Access Hospitals which provide care to more than 60 million Americans.
Pairing iVantage’s extensive knowledge of rural healthcare, research and solution portfolio with the healthcare expertise and resources of the Chartis group creates an unparalleled value proposition for rural health leaders and those advocating on their behalf. Chartis Center for Rural Health provides this important healthcare segment to more insight, perspective, analysis and solutions for addressing the biggest challenges and driving performance improvement.
We focus on serving rural clients – including individual hospitals, consortia, state networks and associations – by providing iVantage performance management tools and servicing management consulting and project management services. We define rural health as those hospitals designated as rural by the Office of Rural Health Policy (ORPH) but excludes those hospitals on the list that are larger than 200 beds. This list includes the 1,326 critical access hospitals (CAHs) and the additional 752 hospitals that serve the 62 million people that live in rural America.
